Key Actions / Information
Exam — 2020 Q14
AB.SW-0003 is the correct procedure for isolating a leaking SW Bay. OHA B-29, "21-23 SW PMP SMP AREA LVL HI" indicates a leaking #2 SW Bay. AB.SW-0001 transitions to this procedure when a bay leak is identified. After isolating #2 Bay with 24 SWP also C/Ted: per S2.OP-SO.SW-0005 P&L 3.2, LCO 3.0.3 is applicable because the "B" bus SW pump (23 or 24 SWP) in the operable bay is unavailable, making both SW loops inoperable.
Scenario — 2018 #1
#2 SW Bay leak during startup. Entry via OHA B-29 (22-23 SW PMP SUMP AREA LVL HI) with B-13 (21 SW HDR PRESS LO). CAS actions: split SW headers (open 21SW23, 22SW23; close 21SW17, 22SW17), start available Bay 4 pumps, stop #2 Bay pumps. Isolate #2 Bay: close 21SW22 and 21SW20. SW remains available to DGs through 22SW21 and turbine area through 23SW20. CAS item 4.0: remove one CCHX from service. CRS enters TS 3.7.4 (72 hr LCO) for only one operable SW loop.
