LS-AA-119-1003 — Calculating Work Hours
Purpose
Establishes requirements for calculating and enforcing work hour limits for licensed operators and safety-related personnel in accordance with 10 CFR 26 Subpart I (Fatigue Management).
Non-Outage Work Hour Limits

JPM — 2023 SRO-A1.b
Work hour rule evaluation: Operator 1 eliminated for not having a 34-hour break in any 9 calendar day period (only 33 hours). Operator 3 eliminated for exceeding 72 hours in a 7-day period (73 hours total). Only Operator 2 meets all five work hour requirements.
JPM — 2020 SRO-A2
Shift staffing evaluation combining work hours AND fitness for duty: Operator #3 eliminated for exceeding 16 hours in a 24-hour period (worked training 0700-1730 same day, then night shift at 1800 = 22 hours in 24) AND violating the 10-hour break requirement (only 30 minutes between training end and shift start). Operators #2 and #4 passed work hour rules but failed SY-AA-102-201 fitness for duty screening. Only Operator #1 met all requirements. TS Admin section allows 2 hours to restore minimum staffing.
