SY-AA-102-201 — Fitness for Duty
Purpose
Establishes requirements for ensuring that all personnel granted unescorted access to the protected area are fit for duty. Implements 10 CFR 26 requirements for drug and alcohol testing, self-reporting, and supervisory assessment of fitness for duty.

JPM — 2020 SRO-A2
Shift staffing evaluation with FFD screening: Operator #2 eliminated — consumed alcohol during the past five hours and self-reported not fit for duty. Operator #4 eliminated — took NyQuil Liquid Nighttime Cold Medicine (causes impairment) and self-reported not sure if fit for duty. Both must be screened out regardless of whether they meet work hour rules.
