Purpose
Provides instructions for initiating and operating the Residual Heat Removal system for shutdown cooling, including RHR HX flow control and cooldown rate management.

Exam — 2020 Q31
To INCREASE the cooldown rate: raise 21RH18 demand (increases flow through RHR HX) and lower 2RH20 demand (decreases RHR HX bypass flow). To LOWER the cooldown rate: lower RH18 demand and raise RH20 demand. RH18 is the RHR HX Flow Control Valve; RH20 is the RHR HX Bypass Valve.
