Purpose
Provides direction for performing periodic testing of the Emergency Control Air Compressors (ECACs) to verify operability and proper operation.

Testing per this procedure requires knowledge of ECAC power supplies. #1 ECAC is powered from the 1C 460V Vital Bus. A trip of 1C 4KV to 460V breaker 1C4D would result in loss of the #1 ECAC. #1 Station Air Compressor (SAC) is powered from 1H 4KV Group Bus — do not confuse SAC power supplies with ECAC power supplies.
