Per Attachment 2: an activity is classified as a special test or evolution when the activity is complex OR infrequently performed (only one criterion needs to be met, not both). Per Step 3.4.1: Operations Shift Management approves IMPLEMENTATION of a special test or evolution. Trap: the Senior Line Manager (SLM) ensures activities are screened and appoints a Special Test or Evolution Coordinator, but does NOT approve implementation — that is Operations Shift Management.
