S2.OP-SO.WG-0006 — Containment Purge to Plant Vent
Purpose
Operating procedure for conducting Containment Purge to the Plant Vent on Unit 2.
Key Requirements
- Per P&L step 3.2, a temporary termination of Containment Purge without the need for a new effluent permit is acceptable provided:
- The temporary termination is of short duration (approximately 4 hours)
- There is operational assurance that no radiological changes to the containment environment has occurred
- Per Attachment 2, reinstatement of purge requires SM or CRS approval
